TX-MD400 CNC Insert Periphery Grinder

TX-MD400 CNC Insert Periphery Grinder

General Specifications

A dedicated CNC grinder for the periphery of indexable inserts, with single-sided edge-land (chamfer) grinding.

  • Non-standard insert grinding: import a drawing to set up complex curves, involutes and other profiles in one step.
  • X/Y axes on THK high-precision roller guides with Akribis linear motors; B axis uses a direct-drive motor in a patented design — quiet, stiff, and maintenance-free over long runs.
  • Built-in database of every ISO-standard insert — enter the process parameters and the machine completes the insert.
  • 7.5 kW Taiwanese synchronous motor spindle with constant-torque control.
  • KEYENCE probe measures the insert periphery and compensates the insert center, holding the inscribed-circle size.
  • Taiwanese TANSHING rotary table on the C axis — 6 arc-second repeatability with a grating angle encoder for consistent clearance angles.
  • HT300 grey cast-iron bed, naturally aged for stability and vibration damping.
